Almost every human on this planet has some form of negative self talk, or negative thoughts about themselves in some way.

And if there's life like humans on another planet, they probably do too.

So FIRST things first, nothing is wrong with you for having this stuff in your head! It's completely normal!

BUT, that doesn't mean we have to just accept all of it or that we can't change it.

There's always something we can do about our thoughts, even if it feels like we can't.

 It's not always going to be easy, but as long as you try, you will make some progress. Trying can be whatever you want it to be, 1 minute a day, 1 minute a week, whatever that looks like for you, it's okay!

So, why this worksheet?

Firstly, this worksheet brings awareness to the negative self-talk in your mind. Once you are aware of it, you can begin to deconstruct it using the steps below. It's like a lightly guided method, where you are the one doing all the work! So pat yourself on the back for starting!

To get started, you'll simply read the steps on the worksheet pages, and remember one thing - there's no right or wrong way to do this, and you may need more or less ladder rungs. Don't sweat that too much! Just try.
