Humans have thousands of thoughts per day. It's normal!
Getting stuck in loops of similar thoughts or repeating the same ones over and over is also normal.
But it doesn't have to be!
Try to release thoughts that don't serve you, and get stuck on the good ones you have instead!
It's sometimes easier said than done, but don't forget that no one is perfect! With any lasting changes to your habits, you have to practice to get them to stick. But, the main point here is to at least TRY. You never know what could happen.
🧐 The next time you find yourself feeling down, negative, worried, anxious, etc., recognize it. Self-awareness is the first step. Once you are aware of your thoughts and the feelings they are causing, you can catch yourself and try to change them.
So the next time you find yourself ruminating on something, ask yourself, does this feel good? Is this the best use of my time?
The answer is often no!
The more you do this with yourself, the more it will become an automatic habit in your mind. The changes from this can be astounding.
