10 Common Negative Thoughts & Ways to Reframe Them

Believe it or not, as unique as we all are, many of us human beings suffer from the EXACT same negative thoughts daily.

I get a lot of the same questions and see similar thought patterns popping up in The Circle. So, I wanted to share some thoughts that are better serving than some of the recurring ones I see my members work through.

It's really important to think through practicing new thoughts if you are working to rewire thought patterns or work on negative self-talk. That said, you may notice similarities with "practicing new thoughts" and affirmations and mantras. That's because they are very similar!

BUT, there are many reasons why these practices may not work for some, and may actually do more harm than good. 

The reason for this, is that you should never try to force yourself into thinking something new, or believing something you currently do not. 

Working through these things should be something that happens with careful thought and baby steps, so that you actually do believe the new thoughts you're practicing.

You can work your way up from old thoughts that aren't serving you by taking small steps. Some examples below are a good representation of where many folx start as their first step. Over time, sometimes days, sometimes months, they are able to tweak their new thought that they practice to be bigger, better, and even more powerful.

And don't forget, confronting these negative thoughts may stir something up that you don't want to feel or may even trigger you. This is not intended to be a replacement for a medical professional's advice, or something you should work through without getting advice from them first.
